Why They and Their Songs Sucked [edit | edit source]
- Jimmy Pop's vocals are grating and show little to no emotion to the point where he sounds like he is about to fall asleep.
- Their lyrical content consists of sexual jokes, obvious innuendos, wordplay that is intended to be clever but fails, juvenile humor, pop culture references, and Jimmy Pop making it clear that he is NOT a gangster.
- They are mainly famous because of one song, and it wasn't even good.
- They are responsible for the monstrosity, "Fire Water Burn."
- The sexual jokes in their songs are essentially bad pickup lines.
- Titles for songs, such as "Kiss me Where it Smells Funny" and 'Foxtrot Unicorn Charlie Kilo."
- Their music videos have no context or correlation to the songs themselves. Examples include The Bad Touch, where they are dressed up in monkey suits while running through Paris harassing, drugging, and kidnapping random people on the street and Fire Water Burn, where they perform and do rambunctious stunts in a nursing home for the deaf.
- Their song "I Wish I Was Queer So I Could Get Chicks," was met with backlash for being offensive and stereotypical to homosexual people.
- Their EP, "Dingleberry Haze," is absolutely ridiculous.
- Their album covers are atrocious and disgusting. (Ex: The cover for The Bad Touch is 2 zebras having sex.)
- Their dumb name.
- Their song "Yellow Fever" has very graphic lyrical content about East Asian women.
- They started using a "golden shower" act onstage during a rendition of Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence" at Rock am Ring and Pinkpop.
- Evil Jared Hasselhoff urinated on the flag of Ukraine while on stage.
Redeeming Qualities [edit | edit source]
- The band members themselves are really nice to their fans and are adult when it comes to criticism, even making fun of themselves at times.
- Evil Jared Hasselhoff was highly praised in Germany after he moved out of the United States in 2006.
- The band is outspoken on their political views and stunts.
- Their production is amazing.
